The German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) is the central scientific governmental body responsible for national and international environmental and rural conservation. The BfN is a high authority  within the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).

 

Both agencies are tasked with protecting the natural resources and habitats that provide life supporting functions in addition to their roles in promoting sustainable development.

 

The following projects of the Global Nature Fund are supported by the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB).
