Wilo-Foundation

Since 2011, the Wilo-Foundation has been the main shareholder of the internationally active pump manufacturer and pump system specialist WILO SE, headquartered in Dortmund. The company was transferred to the foundation in the fourth generation by entrepreneur and founder Dr.-Ing. E.h. Jochen Opländer and his children. In addition to safeguarding the company's independence, the family foundation has also assumed social responsibility since then and provides financial support for projects in the fields of science, education, culture, sport and other social causes. Since the start of its international sponsorship activities, the focus has been on dealing with our environment, climate protection and water resources.

Since 2016, the Wilo Foundation has supported the following GNF projects:

Drinking water in rural regions in Colombia

Wastewater Treatment Plant with Solar Power, Jordan Valley

Sustainable management of fish stocks at Lake Tonle Sap in Cambodia
