Co-operation partners
The visions of the Global Nature Fund are embedded in international conventions. Conventions can only be enforced via pressure from private organisations. The most effective strategy of the GNF for strict implementation is to emphasise the positive aspects and to support the development of sustainable and transferable models. That is to offer financing and to promote cooperation with industries, authorities and international organisations.
GNF co-operates closely with the secretariats of the "Bonn Convention" and the "Ramsar Convention".
The Global Nature Fund is member of the following organisations:
- Deutscher Naturschutzring (DNR)
- Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen (Central Administration of German Foundations)
- Future e.V.
